8/10
That last guardian talk got my KH3 vibes up, but I guess we'll have to wait for squeenix. FF7 REMAKE! YES! No man's sky still looks decent, but not very "stuff to do" heavy. Don't really care for Shenmue, but it's nice to see old games getting some new love *cough* RARE *cough*.
Best conference so far, but I could really do with some KH action.
Good thing square enix is today......................
I think we can all agree that i`m a great asset to the human race.

Yeah they did, a 6 min (ish) gameplay video.

The lack of first party titles is not an issue? Almost 2 years into its life cycle you would hope they start to have more on offer for a steady stream. Why would you buy a PS4 if you could just buy it on PC. I mean at least xbox have a bunch of first party stuff releasing for the rest of this year. Gears, Halo, Forza, Tomb Raider, Rare collection etc.

I'm sure it'll pick up in the next year or two but announcing a kickstarter (2017), a FF7 remake (which is going to be years away) seemed to just fill the gaps and make everyone lose their eton mess. As I said conference was great and I look forward to picking up a PS4 again in future and most the titles announced, but for now there is no reason to go grab one for the holiday period. Unless of course they announce some new stuff at the Paris event prior to gamescom in October.
To be fair, Sony have already released two first party exclusives this year with The Order and Bloodborne. If you look at the entire year Xbox doesn't have much more in comparison.

Well the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter is funded so that's a thing that's now more likely to get made, though I don't really get why it's a Kickstarter at all.

Final Fantasy VII remake 10/10
Would watch again.
Also Shenmue 3 is nice, not sure how they're making it on such a small budget, but still, more Shenmue is always nice.

Not looked into it a lot, but I'd have assumed Shenmue had a deal like Bloodstained where if they could prove it was viable Sony would fund it.

Not talking about prior to E3, talking about what to look forward to in the near future [2015] and beyond which is what E3 should be about, xbox has been awful this year so far no doubt about it.

Its obvious I cant say anything negative about sony here but my comments are getting taken out of context I don't care about 'console war' , I'm just saying it how I see it from a consumer perspective i'm not here to argue my opinion.

That's exactly what they're doing. Shenmue 1 had a budget of 47m.

Probably also a similar deal of older games having to prove they're still relevant and wanted by the market. It's one thing people being nostalgic and in favour of them coming back but that's not always enough for a financial success.

Sure looks pretty I love how it looks like having the platforming and guidance of Ico but obviously Colossus climbing and aesthetic shame it probably wont get a ps3 version though.

Was a gr8 conference, Last Guardian looks really good even though I wasn't a fan of the original. No Man's Sky is mindblowing, can't wait to play that too. Tbh, I intend to pick up most of the games shown.

I'm in agreement with many who think highly of The Last Guardian, but Uncharted 4 impressed me the most. Other than being an entertaining scenario, it was the physics and more open structure that stood out.

New IP's kept things interesting too, not least Horizon: Zero Dawn which I'm looking forward to seeing more of.

Is it Uncharted 4's fate to gooseberry fool up every E3 it's at? Last year Nathan fell through the world, this time the demo froze

It's just their way of proving it's a real, live demo.

Personally, it was fantastic. The Last Guardian looked similar to when we last saw it but just knowing it still exists is pleasing. Remake of Final Fantasy 7 is awesome. Horizon looked boss. Uncharted 4 looked like Uncharted, but luckily I love those games. No Man's Sky was shown yet again, hopefully that'll be out by the year's end, very ambitious game. Firewatch looked cool too.

Generally pretty happy, overall it was probably a 7/10 of a show though - Sony's 2015 lineup exclusively is non-existent but I don't think that matters, they're enough in the lead at this point for it to likely continue for this console generation.
You win.

Watching a Let's watch of it and it's still just as awesome the second time around, just Sony nailed it. It has it's lulls but they don't linger on anything too long so if you don't enjoy a franchise then you're not seeing lots of it (something Xbox could have done better). Just well paced with great announcements and a lot of variety in the types of games shown. Would have been cool to have some Vita stuff other than passing mentions but that's to be expected really.

That opening animation looks lovely, and the in game art looks very cool too (if very different to the animation), but I'm not convinced on that gameplay they showed off.
